Membership
Membership in the American Heritage Girls is open to girls ages five-18 and subject to AHG'southward Inclusion Policy:
Inclusion Policy
All girls of whatever color, creed, race, national origin and socioeconomic condition who agree to live according to the standards of the AHG Oath and the AHG Creed are invited to be a fellow member of American Heritage Girls.
AHG in Tallahassee
In Tallahassee, two troops have formed:
Our troop, Troop FL-0118, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, serves all girls ages 5-18 and offers a family unit feel in which the troop is predominately led by moms, only dads are welcome to register for various leadership opportunities within the troop.
Troop FL-1230 meets in the early on afternoon at New Philadelphia Presbyterian Church and offers a mother-girl experience in which each mom is registered as an adult leader and participates in activities with her daughter.

Programme Costs
Youth
$100 troop annual dues, covers Class "B" troop tee-shirt (for new members and girls leveling up), $20 national plan support fee, and troop's $195 annual charter renewal fee. All checks made payable to Skilful Shepherd Cosmic Church.
$26 national registration fee including liability insurance
Awards
All badges (up to 10 per twelvemonth), event patches, services stars, and level awards earned past the girls, whether during or exterior of troop meetings and activities, are covered past troop dues.
Fundraising
$lx opt-out fee for not participating in fundraising
Adult Leaders
Registered adult volunteers must pay the annual $26 national registration fee and complete AHG's Keys to Child Safety training and the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee'southward safe environment requirements, including fingerprinting, background screening, and Shield the Vulnerable training.
Special Events
For certain special events, such as food for an overnight camping trip, additional charges may utilize.
Uniforms
Each girl purchases the AHG uniform appropriate for her level. Pioneers and Patriots wear sashes with polo shirts, Tenderhearts and Explorers wear vests with neckerchiefs and polo shirts, and Pathfinders wear tee-shirts with beaded necklaces. Families may purchase uniforms direct from the AHG Attic or, to have advantage of complimentary aircraft, you may guild with our troop Uniform Club Form.
Handbooks
Each girl purchases AHG's Daughter Handbook ($18 former purchase, 1st-12th grades). Kindergarten girls will also need the Pathfinder Handbook ($9 one-fourth dimension buy). Both handbooks are profoundly discounted when bundled with uniform purchase.
